SimpleSpeaker is an all-in-one speechwriting, scriptwriting, op-ed writing, report writing, editing, content consulting and media relations service.

I started SimpleSpeaker because I realised something important: there is a big, unmet demand for speechwriting, scriptwriting and other types of professional writing.

How do I know that? In Australia, for example, most speechwriters work in three different sectors: politics, the public service, or banking. But that can’t possibly be a fair representation of the need for speechwriting.

There are so many people out there who need a speech, or a script, or a presentation, and simply don’t know where to turn for help.

Whether you’re a leader in business or the not-for-profit sector, or a creator making YouTube videos or selling your goods, you need to be able to tell your story. That’s where I come in.

I am a strategic communications professional with years of experience as a full-time political speechwriter in South Australia and Victoria. Not only did that teach me how to quickly grasp complex subject matter in different fields, it taught me to be obsessed with your audience.

I have experience across all types of communications and am comfortable dealing with the most senior stakeholders. I’ve written speeches and op-eds for Premiers, Cabinet Ministers, CEOs and industry leaders. I’ve written Cabinet submissions that have successfully persuaded Ministers to invest millions of dollars. I have managed international campaigns. I have started social media profiles from scratch which have built large and passionate audiences.

In short, I have written communications products that have won hearts and changed minds. And I have been in the room where the biggest decisions are made.
